Alexandra Maria Lara has been a Romanian/German television and film actress for a long time. Alexandra is known for roles on Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. The actress was born as the sole child of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. In her early teens, Alexandra played the leading role in several dramas on television. Her performance as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, from Downfall (an Oscar-nominated historic war film) was critically as well as highly rated commercially. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex as well as The Reader are also Oscar-nominated movies featuring this beautiful diva. Alexandra was involved in a variety of notable national and international projects over the years. These include British biographical films Control and The Dust of Time as well as French history mini-series Napoleon. The actress also served on the jury of the Cannes Film Festival and the Transylvania International Film Festival.
